Various things have been happening over the past week like several announcements over on the Gauntlet Discord about various third-party Carved from Brindlewood projects ranging from full games to settings. I have fully announced Our Last Summer's ashcan being available on itch.io as well as directly linking it to the Discord server.
Other highlights include Step Right Up which is about players taking on the role of performers in a traveling carnival in the 1930s. I have been keeping my eye on it ever since I heard about it as similar types of games have garnered my interest like Crossroads Carnival(which is stuck in ashcan land) and Under Hollow Hills(not quite what I want, but very interesting). So, it's very exciting to see a game that I thematically like a whole bunch with a game system I truly adore. I would recommend everyone to go over to Bluesky and take a look for themselves and say what you all think of the game.
Vac Suits and Duct Tape also got released yesterday in its full form on itch.io. The game has been in development for almost two years now, and even almost five years after the release of Trophy, the Rooted in Trophy design community is still going strong. I hope Fenris is proud of the work they've done and how far their game has gone. I look forward to picking this one up.
